Our Second residential at Bosweddon House finished last week with six vets taking part in all the activities. We did some surfing, walking, creative awareness, yoga, tai chi, relaxation and introduced a days fly fishing which was a great day out.
Thanks to Thelma and her team at Bosweddon for some amazing food and taking great care of us. The guys made some great breakthroughs and in tai chi learnt a new tool in relaxation which can really help in many situations. A great way to start and finish the day it can also be used at any time when stress and anger are creeping into the day.
The fly ...

Myself, Rich, Chris Hines and Andy Snapes from WWA had a great evening with Air Vice Marshall Morris, Station Commander House and his team on Wednesday evening up on the base at St Mawgan. The dinners was superb and the evening built some new relationships and opportunities. We really did not know what to expect. SW Lottery Director Mark Cotton was bombarded with shouts for more funding which he graciously fended off with some amazing advice, the AVM was generous in his advice and offers of support and the Station Commander 'sheds' was liking to a laid back surfer without a care in...

After the programme Saints and Scroungers aired on BBC1 we have had some great emails and feedback. If anyone wants to read more on Rich the following link is a story I wrote for Drift online. It was also the first time in all the years I had known Rich that I got an opportunity to listen to the story and my first real understanding of the symptoms of PTSD. Take a read by following this link.

Combining a beach walk with a beach clean was the order of the day this past Friday. The group is now meeting at 11.30 at Sunset Surf Cafe at Gwithian Towans near Hayle just a little earlier than usual. We decided to give the beach a good clean after the last big swells we have had down here that has kept the group out of the water for a few weeks. However, like we say when we're not surfing we're walking, talking and now beach cleaning.
Just to let people know who were not there that on Friday 3rd February we shall be at Disability Cornwall for the day. The day will be filled with feed...
