Surf Action are looking for companies who would like to sponsor a veterans. This sponsorship will aid the training and development costs of the veterans we are working with. It is essential that our veterans move forward with their lives and finding work can be a huge step in rebuilding lives. Surf Action work very closely with Tim Cocks at Active Plus and 12 veterans and ex-service have gone through or are currently training with Tims project. Tim meets our veterans at Surf Actions weekly beach clinics and when they feel confident enough to move forward Tim trains them in team building activities that are then delivered to community groups such as the over 50's at local Job centres. Both our projects are supported by Job Centre Plus and Cornwall Works.
