Surf Action proudly announces a collaboration of local businesses. Surf Action the St Buryan based military charity is very proud to announce a collaboration of Cornish businesses that will have wider benefits in today’s tough economic climate. Surf Action are looking for companies who would like to sponsor a veterans. This sponsorship will aid the training and development costs of the veterans we are working with. It is essential that our veterans move forward with their lives and finding work can be a huge step in rebuilding lives. Surf Action work very closely with Tim Cocks at Active Plus and 12 veterans and ex-service have gone through or are currently training with Tims project. Combining a beach walk with a beach clean was the order of the day this past Friday. The group is now meeting at 11.30 at Sunset Surf Cafe at Gwithian Towans near Hayle just a little earlier than usual. We decided to give the beach a good clean after the last big swells we have had down here that has kept the group out of the water for a few weeks.
