Myself, Rich, Chris Hines and Andy Snapes from WWA had a great evening with Air Vice Marshall Morris, Station Commander House and his team on Wednesday evening up on the base at St Mawgan. The dinners was superb and the evening built some new relationships and opportunities. We really did not know what to expect. SW Lottery Director Mark Cotton was bombarded with shouts for more funding which he graciously fended off with some amazing advice, the AVM was generous in his advice and offers of support and the Station Commander 'sheds' was liking to a laid back surfer without a care in...

Surf Action Updates
After a great day at Sennen today it really showed how the Lottery funds are being used. We had a blast in the perfect little waves at Sennen, the waves were perfect for learning and we had some special guests from RAF Boston and RAF St Mawgan and these were welcomed by our usual suspects from our weekly clinics. Great food, great fun and great people, thanks everyone. Photos to come shortly.

Surf Action Updates
Tomorrow the Surf Action team will be at Watergate Bay to support Corporal Jamie Hagan and his team in the final Beach Fit Activity session. Whilst the public will be taking part in the military style circuit training Surf action will be taking RAF personnel and their families surfing in partnership with RAF St Mawgans Community Support Officer Simon Keeble.

Surf Action Updates
Please join the RAF Physical Training Instructors this weekend at Watergate Bay for some training on the beach. Sgt Jamie Hagan from St Mawgan and his team will be putting people through an hour of exercise to promote fitness from 10am this Saturday. This event is free and participants are asked to kindly make a donation after. Proceeds go towards the RAF Benevolent fund and Surf Action. This is the first of four events planned over July and August. I'll keep you posted about other dates....
